E-Stim Dildos
Choosing an e-stim dildo
Bi-polar — what it means and why it matters
Every e-stim dildo here is bi-polar. That means both the positive and negative poles are built into the same insertable — the current flows between them through the surrounding tissue. No second pad or external electrode needed anywhere else on the body.
For the circuit to work, both conductive zones must be in contact with the body at the same time. On most probes that means being fully inserted before switching the power box on. Always insert first, then turn on — not the other way around.
Silicone vs metal — a genuinely different feel
Silicone e-stim probes conduct current across a broader area. The pulse feels more diffuse — muscles contract and respond across a wider zone. Silicone also has some flex, which changes how it sits and moves internally.
Metal — aluminium or stainless steel — conducts more sharply and evenly across its entire surface. The pulse is cleaner and more precise. Metal is also firm with no flex, which adds physical pressure on top of the electrical output. Aluminium responds to temperature: warm it in warm water or cool it briefly before use for an extra dimension that has nothing to do with the current.
Neither is stronger — they just feel different. The right choice depends on whether you want a broader, softer effect or a sharper, more focused one.
Power box compatibility — check this before buying
This is the most important practical consideration. E-stim dildos are passive electrodes — they do nothing without a power box. And not all power boxes are compatible with all probes.
ElectraStim probes use 2mm pin connectors. Mystim probes use a Mystim round plug. Rimba probes use a 2.5mm jack. Cross-brand use requires an adapter — possible in some cases, but not guaranteed. Check connector type against your power box before buying the probe, not after.
Lead wires are also frequently sold separately. Check what's included in the pack.
Probes vs full dildos
Smaller probes are simpler in shape — easier to position and less physical commitment. The electrical output is concentrated near the tip, which suits targeted G-spot or prostate work.
Full-length e-stim dildos distribute the conductive zones along more of the shaft. The electrical effect spreads across a wider internal area, and the physical shape — curve, girth, texture — adds a separate layer on top. If you're new to internal e-stim, a smaller probe is the lower-risk starting point.
Conductive gel
For metal insertables, conductive gel applied to the shaft before insertion significantly improves the quality and consistency of the current. It reduces dry spots and produces a cleaner pulse. Water-based lube also helps with insertion and aids current spread on silicone probes. Never use silicone lube on silicone probes.
Safety rules specific to insertables
Never switch the power box on before the probe is fully inserted. Never use in water or the shower with the power box connected. Start at zero and raise output slowly — internal tissue is more sensitive than skin surface. Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain, unusual heat, or numbness.
E-stim insertables should not be used by anyone with a pacemaker, heart condition, epilepsy, or during pregnancy. If in doubt, seek medical advice before use.
When e-stim dildos make the most sense
The combination of electrical output and physical shape is what separates these from surface electrodes. A probe positioned at the G-spot or prostate delivers current directly to that area while staying in place — the muscles contract around it with each pulse.
For prostate targeting specifically, e-stim anal and prostate toys include purpose-built prostate probes with angled tips. For hands-free or partner use, some e-stim dildos are harness-compatible — pairing with a strap-on harness for use where both partners feel the current.
E-stim dildos vs surface electrodes
Surface electrodes sit on the skin externally — pads, plates, or conductive loops placed wherever you want the current. They're more flexible to position but the effect stays on the surface.
E-stim dildos work internally. The current reaches internal tissue and muscle directly, which produces a different kind of response — deeper contractions, more intense orgasm for many users. The trade-off is that position is fixed once inserted, and there's no repositioning mid-use without switching off first.
If you already use surface electrodes and want to add an internal element, an e-stim dildo is the natural next step. If e-stim is new entirely, surface electrodes give more control over placement while you learn how the current feels.
Trusted brands, discreet delivery
E-stim dildos here come from ElectraStim, Mystim, and Rimba — specialists in electro stimulation with documented safety specs and body-safe materials. Silicone probes are medical-grade and non-porous. Metal pieces are hand-polished and smooth with no sharp edges.
Orders leave in plain boxes with no external branding. Same-day dispatch on orders before 14:00 Monday to Friday. Free UK delivery over £50.
