Lube Dispensers
What to look for in a lube dispenser
Reusable or single-use
Most of these are reusable — a barrel and plunger you fill, press, and rinse through each time. Two builds dominate: soft silicone, gentler going in, and harder plastic, firmer and cheaper. Both are body-safe, so the choice comes down to feel and budget.
The alternative is single-use. These arrive individually wrapped — one go, then binned, with nothing to clean or dry. A reusable one costs less over time; disposables trade that for convenience and guaranteed hygiene.
How much it holds, and the tip
Volume is the first decision. A small one handles a quick coat, but anal takes more lubricant and takes it deeper, so a larger launcher means no stopping to refill halfway. Two people sharing will want more again.
Most have markings up the barrel for loading the same amount every time and wasting less. Tip shape counts as much as size — a smooth tapered end eases in, a rounded tip suits vaginal use, and beaded versions add a little stretch on the way in.
The part first-timers overlook: the tool holds the fluid, it doesn't contain any. You fill it from your own bottle, so you'll still want a water-based lube alongside it, or a thicker anal lube where more cushion helps. Match the size and tip to how you'll mostly use it, and the rest is straightforward.
