Description
The Bind & Tie Initiation Kit from the Kink by Doc Johnson collection puts together everything needed to start rope bondage properly — 3 bundles of natural hemp rope, a pair of EMT scissors, a storage backpack, and free access to instructional video tutorials on Kink.com.
Hemp is one of the most widely used materials in rope bondage and shibari. It holds knots firmly, has very little stretch, and develops a softer feel with use. The 6mm width and 3-strand twisted design give it the right combination of grip and hold for most rigging styles. Reinforced stitched ends prevent unravelling during washing or storage.
The kit includes 110 feet of rope across 3 bundles — 2 x 30-foot lengths and 1 x 50-foot length. The shorter lengths suit wrist, ankle, and upper body ties, while the longer rope opens up full-body harnesses, chest ties, and more complex shibari patterns.
EMT scissors (emergency medical trauma scissors, designed for fast one-handed cutting) are included for fast, safe rope removal in an emergency — an essential addition for anyone new to bondage. Everything stores in the included drawstring backpack, compact enough for travel or discreet storage at home.
All 3 ropes are machine washable.
