Description

The Arm to Forearm Leather Shackles are genuine cowhide leather cuffs designed specifically to bind the forearms & upper arms together — a positional restraint that folds the arms behind the back rather than simply cuffing wrists. 4 cuffs in total: 2 narrower forearm cuffs & 2 wider upper arm cuffs, all with buckle fastening & D-ring hardware.

Forearm cuffs fit circumferences of 8.3 to 12.2 inches, upper arm cuffs fit 13.4 to 18.9 inches — both adjustable via buckle for a secure, snug fit. Vegetable-tanned cowhide leather with a wipe-clean finish, made in Europe.

The arm-to-forearm configuration creates a more complete upper body restraint than wrist cuffs alone.

Genuine vegetable-tanned cowhide throughout. Wipe down with a damp cloth after use — do not soak or submerge. Dry thoroughly after cleaning, paying particular attention to the buckle points & D-rings where moisture can collect around the hardware.

Vegetable-tanned leather benefits from regular conditioning more than chrome-tanned alternatives — apply a quality leather conditioner periodically to all 4 cuffs, working it into the edges & strap holes where drying & cracking tends to occur first. Well-conditioned vegetable-tanned leather will develop a patina over time & become more supple with use.

The buckle & D-ring hardware should be wiped dry after cleaning to prevent any deterioration at the metal contact points.

Store flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight & heat sources which will dry the leather out prematurely.
