Wrapping, reusing and what to make
Getting a hold that works
A firm wrap round the wrists or ankles is all it takes to limit movement — no measuring, no buckles, no learning curve. Keep it snug, not tight: it should hold someone in place without pressing into them. Most rolls give you a few uses before the grip fades, as long as you unwind them gently instead of tearing them off, and cutting to length as you go stretches a roll further. Want a firmer, ready-made hold instead? Handcuffs and ankle cuffs do that, and for anyone keen to learn proper ties, rope and shibari goes much deeper.
Staying safe with it
Easy as this is, treat it as you would any restraint. Keep safety scissors within reach so you can free someone fast, check the wrapped area now and then for numbness or colour change, and loosen it the moment anything feels off. Keep it clear of the neck, and never across the nose or mouth. The same roll can double as a quick blindfold in a pinch, though a proper blindfold is comfier if you want it on for a while.
